Art Gallery Spaces

Art galleries and exhibition spaces are typically reverberant due to hard floors and walls and the lack of internal room structures providing a barrier to sound reflections. Patrons expect to be able to consider the art in a quiet space free from the distractions of excessive noise. Audio visual installations often need to be contained within a structure that will prevent sound from disturbing other areas of the exhibition. Acoustic treatment needs to be applied to these areas to allow the sound to be projected with clarity.

Typically ceilings can be treated with either flat acoustic panels fixed directly to a ceiling or for temporary installations acoustic panels can be suspended by cables that can be removed easily at the end of the exhibition.

The MP700/40 white ceiling panels can be fixed directly to the ceiling or suspended from a cable system. The Lundor acoustic panel is a modern stylish panel that can be colour coated to suit the room aesthetics and has been a popular choice in gallery spaces.
