Acoustic treatment for the typical bedroom sized home studio should consist of a balanced combination of wall panels and bass traps. A common trap to be avoided is to apply too much treatment that only absorbs higher frequencies, such as carpet or typical acoustic foam. A good starting point for a home studio set-up is one of the SoundAcoustic room kits. In a room up to 4 metres square the RK2 room kit is an excellent acoustic solution. The RK1 room kit is a good starter kit predominantly designed to deal with first reflections in rooms with no significant low frequency problems (in rooms up to 4m square).
Also, all of our panels feature the “Staple T”channel which allows quick and easy installation with a staple gun. A simple but very handy innovation, and in many cases a great alternative to adhesive. HA600-75 Information / Installation video
